The Gunners were dominant and did not allow Manchester City to even have a shot on target in the first half. However, in the 2nd half, the game turned on it’s head after Manchester City were awarded a rather soft penalty for a foul by Granit Xhaka on Bernardo Silva. Riyad Mahrez scored from the spot to level the score 1-1 just before the 60 minute mark.

Arsenal stuck on and defended brilliantly but a 93rd minute winner by Rodri ensured that Manchester City went home with all 3 points.
