Aston Villa launches new home kit ahead of the 2021/22 season

The resurging Premier League outfit, Aston Villa have launched a new home kit ahead of the English Premier League 2021/22 season. The club posted a new video on their Twitter and other social media handles announcing the new home kit for the upcoming season.

The video features the club star defender and English international, Tyrone Mings, the Scottish central midfielder, John McGinn. Also, the video contains the club skipper, Jack Grealish who is touted with a move to Manchester City. It also has the young striker Ollie Watkins who caught the attention of the Premier League giants with his shooting ability.

The video also features the home stadium of the Clarets. Also, the video has the past glory of the Villa where the former skipper of the team is seen lifting the title in front of the massive crowd. Cazoo, the car finance company has remained the shirt sponsor for the English Premier League outfit. The video ends with their famous title, “We are Villa”.

According to recent reports, the club is set to launch the away kit after the pre-season and just before the start of the league. The club CEO, Christian Purslow, said:

The away kit will then follow a couple of weeks later in early August, with the third kit in late August. We have increased the level of shirts we have by a further 20 per cent for the coming season to match the increasing demand

The merchandise is available on the official website of Aston Villa. The Pro Shirt/ Adult shirt costs £90 whereas the shorts cost up to £40. The price is the same for women’s outfits as well. The kids’ shirt is set to cost £45 as per the club website. A pair of socks is also available and ranges from £12 – £15.

As a token of gesture, the club has extended the time to shop the merchandise by two hours. The timings have changed from 4 PM to 6 PM at Villa Park for the visitors.
