Indian Football Transfer News: Chinglensana Konsham pens a four year deal with Hyderabad

According to the club statement by the Indian Super League outfit, Hyderabad FC, Chinglensana Konsham has committed his future to the South Indian outfit. The player has signed a new four year contract that will see him playing till the end of 2025. The 24-year-old played a huge role in the Indian contingent’s display in the FIFA World Cup 2022 and Asian Cup 2023 joint qualifiers.

The club statement read:

The 24-year-old defender who joined HFC in September 2020, has penned a new four-year contract which keeps him at Hyderabad till the end of the 2024-25 season

What Chinglensana Konsham had to say about the new deal?

After a penning a new deal with club, Chinglensana Konsham was happy and excited about his new contract. Talking to the official website, he said:

Knowing the positive atmosphere at the club, and admiration from the fans that enjoy and love football, it feels great to extend my contract at Hyderabad FC. I believe that my peak years are ahead of me. So, consistency, sheer determination, and my desire to learn and keep improving to do the best I can for the club and its fans will be there for everyone to see,

Even the coach of Hyderabad FC, Manolo was happy about the contract renewal of Chinglensana Konsham. He applauded his performances in the 2020/21 season of the Indian Super League as well as the performances for Blue Tigers. Manolo added:

To play for your country is one of the best achievements that you can get as an athlete. After his fantastic season with HFC, Sana totally deserved to play with the Blue Tigers. It was not just important for him, but for the club too. It was an honour for everyone associated with HFC when Igor Stimac called six players from our club. But at the same time, we must not rest on this and continue with our hard work as a club, while being confident in our Indian players

Before the contract extension of Chinglensa Konsham, the club has added the likes of Nim Dorjee Tamang as well as Gurmeet Singh ahead of the 2021/22 season of the Indian Super League. After finishing poorly in 2020/21, Hyderabad FC are aiming to finish high in the ISL.
