Croatia Vs Czech Republic Player Ratings

Czech Republic have almost finalized their qualification to the knockouts of this summer’s Euro 2020 from Group D, with a 1-1 draw against Croatia at Hampden Park, while the Croats are kept lingering with only a single point from two games. Czech Republic went ahead in the 38th minute when Patrick Schick slotted home a penalty, after suffering a blow to the nose from a high elbow from Dejan Lovren. It was his third goal of this tournament after his brace against Scotland in the first match, which took him to the top of the goalscorer chart. However, Croatia equalised just after halftime in the 46th minute when Perisic’s strike from distance found the top right corner of the Czech goal, much beyond the reach of Tomas Vaclik. Both team pushed on late but neither could find the winner as the match ended in a stalemate with the teams sharing the points.
