MINUTE 120′- No added time from Felix Brych yet again and we head into PENALTIES with the match tied at 1-1 after 120 minutes.

MINUTE 118′- YELLOW CARD – Bonucci- The defender gets himself booked high up the pitch inside Spain’s half after catching out Alvaro Morata from the back.

Minute 114′- The match has almost settled down as both teams are looking towards penalties at the moment, but is there a final spark left in either of the teams this late in the game.

Minute 110′- Italy score from Berardi, but his goal is clearly offside. The referee lifts up his flag after the ball had gone into the net past Simon.

MINUTE 106′- Italy get things underway in the second half of extra time.

MINUTE 105′- Spain looking the likelier side to score a goal as the Italians sit back and defend in numbers inviting more pressure.

MINUTE 100′- CHANCE…. HUGE MISS FROM SPAIN– Donarumma misses his punch and the ball falls to Llorente inside the box, the right back fails to get enough power in his shot and Bonucci clears the shot.

MINUTE 97′- YELLOW CARD TOLOI- The substitute brings down Olmo who twists and turns looking to run into the penalty area. The resultant free kick results in two huge chances for the Spanish strikers.

But the ball just won’t go in and Italy can breathe a sigh of relief with the score still level at 1-1.

MINUTE 94′- Spain keeping the ball well inside their half and we have a stoppage in play as Belotti goes down inside the half way circle.

END OF 90 MINUTES – SPAIN 1- 1 ITALY

90+3‘- Italy look to attack in the dying moments of the match but fail to create a final move inside the three minutes .

Minute 90′– Spain bring it forward and almost caught out the Italian defenders at the back. Chiellini slides in and the ball touches his arm inside the penalty box but no penalty awarded.

Minute 80′GOALLLLL !!! EQUALISER!!! ALVARO MORATA . Spain create a great move and it’s a poetic goal from Alvaro Morata who finishes it off into the back of the net. The match is well set for an excellent finish as it heads into the final 10 minutes.

Minute 78′– Unai Simon once again comes out off his line and almost sends his clearance into his own goal after the ball strikes in goal.

Minute 76′– Morata breaks the Italian defence and takes a shot, from an acute angle – the ball ricochets off Bonucci for a corner. The corner doesn’t prove to fruitful for the La Roja’s.

Minute 73′– Spain are failing to break info the Italian defense, and the Azurris are looking to pass it around inside their own half.

Minute 67′– CHANCE SPAIN- Dani Olmo sends his shot wide after Oyarzabal laid it off for him just outside the penalty box.

Minute 64′MISS– Mikel Oyarzabal misses a huge chance after the ball pin-balls inside the Italian penalty box. Koke sends in a cross for the winger on the right and he fails to get his head to it.

Chiesa scires the first goal of the match

Minute 61′GOAL!!!! GOAL!!! GOAL!!!! FEDERICO CHIESA SCORES A BANGER …. Italy start a quick move from Donarumma in goal and the ball breaks for Insigne. Laporte gets a touch and Chiesa is on hand to take the ball on from him.

The striker cuts in to his right foot and let’s fly a curler into the bottom right corner past Unai Simon to score the goal.

Minute 58′– SHOT ON TARGET- Oyarzabal shoots from distance, and Donarumma is upto the task keeping it out of goal.

Minute 55′- SHOT – CHIESA – Italy bring on a quick counter of their own, Insigne brings Italy forward before laying it off to Barella, who picks out Chiesa on the right. Chiesa gets his shot off and is on target but Simon gets down low and stops the shot.

Minute 53′- CHANCE – SERGIO BUSQUETS sends it just over the bar. Italy lose possession and Spain make a quick attack and Oyarzabal sends the ball inside for Busquets who is right in the edge of the penalty box.

Minute 51′- YELLOW CARD – Sergio Busquets- The Spanish captain goes into the book for cynically pulling down Immobile.

Spain win a corner this time as Ferran Torres is almost through on goal, but the keeper does well to keep it out.

Minute 49′- Italy win a corner from an Unai Simon mis pass but Insigne’s delivery is poor and they fail to do anything with it.

2nd HALFMinute 46′– Italy kick things off in the second half. Spain go on the attack as Bonucci misplaced a pass.

HALF TIME AT WEMBLEY

The match is evenly poised after the first half as both teams have looked threatening but have failed to pick out the back of the net to score the all important goal opening goal. Spain have dominated the play mostly and Donarumma had to pull of two good saves to deny them the lead.

Minute 45‘ -Spain look to score from a counter, but FELIX BRYCH calls it a half just on the cusp of 45 minutes.

Minute 42‘- It’s still 0-0 at Wembley, and Immobile commits a silly foul on Eric Garcia in his attempt to win the ball. Pedri brings it forward but once again the final touch is lacking for La Roja’s.

Minute 39‘- Oyarzabal sends the ball into space. Spain work the move nicely into the opposition half and Pedri lays it off for the Real Sociedad striker who attempts a first time shot into space.

Minute 37′- A counter attack from Italy, and Immobile fails to pick out the right option – Busquets just gets the ball and the move breaks down just outside the penalty box.

Minute 34′– Italy attack, and Insigne runs into the space created on the left-flank. The attacker runs inside the penalty box but is out of space as Laporte holds his ground and sends the ball out for a goal kick.

Minute 31′ – SHOT SPAIN- Dani Olmo leads Spain’s charge yet again after another mistake from Jorginho who gives the ball away. Looked 3v3 for a moment but Olmo fails to pick out the right option and shoots way over.

Minute 29′– Ciro Immobile once again finds space behind the Spanish defence but Unai Simon makes the right decision of coming out of his line and getting hold of it.

Minute 27′– Italy once again give the ball away, in midfield and Dani Olmo is once again through on goal all by himself. The defenders however come back to rescue the situation crowding him out eventually.

Minute 25′- SAVE- Dani Olmo fails to score from just about 6 yards. Donnarumma pulls off an excellent save from close range after the Azurris fail to clear a ball away from their penalty area.

Minute 21′ HUGE CHANCE FOR ITALY– The Spanish goalkeeper is off the line but Italy fail to make the most off it as Barella fails to get the ball under control. The score remains 0-0.

Minute 19′– FOUL- Dani Olmo concedes a free kick as Italy look to break forward to attack.

Minute 17′– Freekick for Italy- Busquets looses the ball in midfield and concedes a foul on Barella. The free kick is however easily claimed by Unai Simon.

Minute 15′– SHOT- Barella gives a loose pass to Ferran Torres in midfield and the forward takes a shot from distance, however it was off target to trouble Donnarruma in goal.

Minute 13′- CHANCE – Spain enjoying a good spell of possession and were almost in on goal for a moment, but Jorginho pulled off a clear tackle to eliminate any dangers. Oyarzabal fails to get the ball in his stride and shoot on goal. Opportunity missed !!!

Minute 11′- Spain once again come up the pitch, but Italy’s midfield holds firm and sends the ball out of touch as Oyarzabal looks to cut back and shoot on goal.

Minute 9′- Spain build from the back, from Unai Simon and Jordi Alba picks out a cross in the centre which is easily cleared by Bonucci.

Minute 7′- Spain looking to slow things down after a frantic start to the match and get their authority on the pitch.

Minute 5′- OFFSIDE – Italy once again on the attacking front but Ciro Immobile is caught offside once again. The Azurris have made a terrific start to the game.

Minute 3′- OFFSIDE- Spain were almost caught by the Italians as they build from the back and a pass caught out Eric Garcia in defense. It went all the way down to the goal but the move was later called off for offside.
