Globe Soccer Awards 2021: Winner of Men’s player of the year and other awards

Globe Soccer Award 2021 has finally commenced and the names of the winners of the prestigious award for this year’s ceremony is finally out after month’s of speculation and waiting.

The Ceremony took place in Al Wasl Dome in Dubai, nerve centre of the Dubai Expo 2020 exhibition. The place is just beautiful and enormous with a touch of innovations and technology.

Let’s check out the winners of the 14 most prestigious awards presented in the 2021 Globe Soccer Awards. The competition was tight and there were some new winners which the world saw in this year’s ceremony.

Globe Soccer Awards 2021 Best Men’s Player of the Year

Kylian Mbappe has won the 2021 Globe Soccer Award for Men’s Player of the Year. Mbappe received the prestigious honour for the first time. Lewandowski finished close second, followed by Messi, Ronaldo, Salah and Benzema in no particular order.

Globe Soccer Awards 2021 Best Women’s Player of the Year

Alexia Putellas, the winner of the 2021 Ballon D’or also managed to secure the 2021 Globe Soccer Awards after her masterclass performance for the Spanish side FC Barcelona. The other five players in the top 6 were Lucy Bronze, Jennifer Hermoso, Lieke Martens, Sam Kerr and Alex Morgan.

Globe Soccer Awards 2021 Best Men’s Club of the Year

The winner of the Globe Soccer Award 2021 for Best Men’s club of the year was none other Chelsea, the Champions of Europe. Chelsea also won the best team of the year for 2021 earlier this year the 65th Ceremony of Ballon D’or.

Globe Soccer Awards 2021 Best Women’s Club of the Year

FC Barcelona received the award for 2021 Globe Soccer Awards, Best Women’s club of the year after the Catalan club’s commendable performance in the European stage of the competition to win their very first Champions League title.

Globe Soccer Awards 2021 Best Defender of the Year

Leonardo Bonucci was awarded the Globe Soccer Awards Best Defender for 2021 after the Italian showcased some class skillset for his National team in the Euros as well as in the Nation’s league this year. Bonucci finished 14th in this year’s Ballon D’or ranking.

The winner of the Yachine Trophy was the winner of Globe Soccer Awards Best Goalkeeper for 2021 and it was none other than Gianluigi Donnaruma after the Italian showcased some top notch skill set in the great stage of World competition. Donnaruma also finished 10th in the all over ranking for Ballon D’or 2021 this season.

Robert Lewandowski was the winner of the newest award of the Globe Soccer Awards 2021, the Diego Maradona Award which was awarded to the Polish because of the number of goals he scored in a single Calendar year. He was also chosen as the Tiktok fans Player of the year for 2021.

Top Goalscorer of All-time in the history of Football

Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded as the Top Goalscorer of all time by the Globe Soccer Awards 2021. The Portuguese has recently reached his 800 goal mark and is all set on his path to add more goals to his tally.
