Tottenham striker Harry Kane fails to turn up for training as Manchester City rumors intensify

Harry Kane has failed to show up at the Tottenham Hotspur training group for a second day in a row now, as the striker looks to force a move this summer. However, according to reports in England, the England skipper will return to training later this weekend.

A move for Kane has been touted ever since the start of the summer transfer window, and Manchester City are looking at the situation with keen interest. Spurs decided to fine the striker for not coming back from a post-Euro 2020 break on Monday and it emerged that he faces a period of isolation after a holiday in the Bahamas.

Tottenham are reportedly not happy with the striker’s actions but they want to keep him at the club at all costs. Spurs Chairman, Daniel Levy has made it clear that he would not sell the player this year, as they look to bring back Champions League football to the club.

Harry Kane is reportedly unhappy with Tottenham apparently reneging on a “gentleman’s agreement” to sell him this summer if the club didn’t win any trophies, and desires a transfer to Manchester City.

Spurs have already rejected a bid of £100m bid made by Manchester City at the end of June, as they themselves look to fill the boots of Sergio Aguero. Kane’s absence from training has made it clear that he is looking to force a move elsewhere as his wishes of leaving amicably have not been answered by Daniel Levy.

Although he is reported to attend training later this week, it remains to be seen if he does so or he continues his stance of not joining in with his new manager Nuno Espirito Santos and take measures himself to move out of the club.
