Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester City took on Leeds United in the Premier League yesterday night at the Etihad stadium. The game was thought to be a two way battle but Pep Guardiola’s men ran riots and won the match 7-0. Leeds United were completely dominated throughout the game and didn’t have a single chance to hope for a comeback.

Manchester City currently sit 1st on the table with 41 points to their name already. The Cityzens have scored 40 goals this season and have conceded just 9 goals in 17 games. Pep Guardiola’s men have a goal difference of 31 which is the 2nd best in the league, behind only Liverpool who have a 33 goal difference.

The Cityzens are on a 7 game winning streak in the league with their latest win coming yesterday night. They last lost a game in the league in October when they lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace.

Manchester City took on Leeds United in the Premier League last night at the Etihad stadium. Pep Guardiola’s men were in fine form and dominated the game from start to finish. The Cityzens were not in a friendly mood as they did not stop scoring and give the opponents a sigh of relief.

Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne scored the 2nd and 3rd goal respectively making it 3-0 shortly after the half hour mark. Four minutes after half time, Riyad Mahrez made it 4-0 to Man City before Kevin De Bruyne’s thunderous strike from 20 yards made it 5-0.

Manchester City’s final 2 goals came from centre backs John Stones and Nathan Ake. John Stones scored by lashing the ball into the net after two brilliant saves from Leeds United keeper Meslier. Whereas, Nathan Ake scored a header from a Phil Foden corner making it 7-0 to the Cityzens.

Kevin De Bruyne scored 2 goals against Leeds United yesterday night and was awarded the Man of the Match for his brilliant performance. The Belgium international got on the scoresheet just after the half hour mark when Manchester City midfielder Rodri played him through.

However, it was De Bruyne’s second goal that made the headlines as it was the best goal of the match. The Belgium international scored a wonder goal from 20 yards and the ball was hit with some speed. The shot recorded a speed of 70 mph as it travelled into the net, making it the second hardest shot this season that has resulted in a goal.

It was sumptuous strike and the Leeds United keeper was left with no chance. Kevin De Bruyne has been in and out of the team due to injury problems in the last few months.
