Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne scored 2 goals against Leeds United yesterday night and was awarded the Man of the Match for his brilliant performance. The Belgium international got on the scoresheet just after the half hour mark when Manchester City midfielder Rodri played him through.

However, it was De Bruyne’s second goal that made the headlines as it was the best goal of the match. The Belgium international scored a wonder goal from 20 yards and the ball was hit with some speed. The shot recorded a speed of 70 mph as it travelled into the net, making it the second hardest shot this season that has resulted in a goal.

It was sumptuous strike and the Leeds United keeper was left with no chance. Kevin De Bruyne has been in and out of the team due to injury problems in the last few months. However, the 30 year old is still regarded as one of the best players in the world due to world-class passing ability and shooting.

Kevin de Bruyne was also nominated for the FIFPRO World 11 earlier today alongside other great players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The Belgium international has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League since his arrival and has won the competition 3 times already in 5 years.

De Bruyne will look to extend his current goal-scoring form throughout this festibe period as the fixtures are coming thick and fast over the next two months.
