According to Diario Sport, Manchester City are on the verge of signing a deal for Barcelona full-back Nelson Semedo.

The two clubs are already in advanced arrangements with the 26-year-old Spanish champion demanding a fee of € 40 million (£ 35m / $ 44m). Inter striker Lutaro is hoping to use the funds raised by the departure of Barca Semedo to help make the move for Martinez.

Bayern Munich director Oliver Kahn says he is spectical about any major transfers to be completed at the club this summer, due to ongoing rumors linking them with Leroy Sane and Kai Havert.

Bayern is one of several top European clubs to be associated with Hürtz of Leverkusen, which has emerged as one of the most talented in the Bundesliga over the years. The German champions have also reportedly pursued a deal to sane, and are expected to revive their long-standing interests once the transfer market reopens.
