Former Arsenal Legend Mikael Silvestre has told the Gunners to not take any decision under a rush and to give time to the new manager. Changing managers at this moment and so early in the season might result in something much more negative than positive.

Arsenal has been the biggest spender this summer, with an amount £145 million. So according to Silvestre Arteta’s new signings have not got enough time to prove themselves and at this moment signing a new manager might not be the best thing as the new signings might not be the in plans of the New manager.

What did Mikael Silvestre have to say ?

“It’s really important that the club keeps its identity. Mikel right now is best placed to do the job and he needs backing from the players. He needs to make sure they believe in him.

“After that, if you have to make a change then you pick the manager that will be happy to use the £300m spent in the last few years on new players.

“You don’t want another manager with a different style of football who will ask you to write more cheques and buy more players for his football.”

Mikel Arteta has also requested for time and patience as he works with his team and strategize to bring his Arsenal project in vision.
