United will be seeking a workable alternative for Ronaldo throughout the World Cup as they do not wish for him to come back to Carrington. Ronaldo produced a fiery opinion against Erik Ten Hag and the Glazers, the owners.

Chelsea was mentioned as a potential suitor for Ronaldo last summer, with owner Todd Boehly said to be interested in signing the legend. Even so, then-manager Thomas Tuchel was adamant about not signing the striker.

Meanwhile, with a new management team in place at Stamford Bridge, the scenario could change. Chelsea is supposedly still interested in signing Ronaldo.

As per a new Sunday Mirror report, Chelsea is willing to make an advance move for Ronaldo if he is dismissed by Manchester United. According to the report; “Chelsea is ready to make a move for Cristiano Ronaldo if he’s sacked by Manchester United.”

According to The Guardian, the 37-year-old has been informed not to return to the club’s training center after the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, during which he will play for Portugal. The point is how Ronaldo’s exit will serve out, provided that he desires out and United intends him out.

Manchester United believes he should not be paid, and they wish the protocol to be done as quickly as possible. Since Ronaldo’s fate is unclear, the club is exploring all possibilities. Ronaldo will almost certainly never play for Manchester United again.
