WATCH: Mohamed Salah’s friends dance while eating snacks after hearing his new bumper £400000 a week contract with Liverpool

Mohamed Salah signs a new bumper three-year deal with Liverpool which will see him pocket a staggering €400k a week.

Mohamed Salah was surrounded by friends as his new contract was officially confirmed at Liverpool. When the news broke, the people he was with reacted in the same way that many of the Reds supporters did by jumping for joy.

It’s reasonable to assume that they would have had some idea that the announcement was on the way, and even if they didn’t, Liverpool’s talisman would have known it was on the way.

There’s no reason for Liverpool fans not to be excited by the news that one of the world’s best players has extended his stay in Merseyside, and this was a genuine display of genuine joy and emotion.

If the news was broken at Anfield whilst Mohamed Salah would have been present there, it would have been a much bigger show of how much he means to the whole red side of Merseyside.
