Manchester United’s new coach Ralf Rangnick is slowly settling down in his new job as the club’s head coach, as he took over from Micheal Carrick as the new interim coach. The German coach has started off with a victory and a draw in his first two matches at the club and has already earned the trust of the fans

Rangnick used a second string lineup against Swiss club Young Boys in their final group match in the UEFA Champions League to give a well deserved rest for his regular players as they come across the festive period, which brings with itself a hectic period for the club with matches being played every other day in the week.

Ralf Rangnick tried out an interesting training format to prepare his side for this week’s match in the Premier League

The 63-year coach has therefore deployed a new inventive training method to get his players to freshen up ahead of the important Premier League fixture this weekend.

He made the starters for the Norwich game train seperately, after giving him a rest for a day, while he used the academy graduates for the inconsequential UEFA Champions League fixture this weekend.

“Yeah, we trained in two different groups before the game on Wednesday. We trained with the team against Young Boys in detail to prepare them for the game,” said Ralf Rangnick in the pre match press conference ahead of Norwich’s game this weekend.

“The other group that played against [Crystal] Palace, they had a day off on Tuesday and started to prepare for the game tomorrow on Wednesday, Thursday and obviously today was the last day of preparation of the game.”

Manchester United take on Norwich on the 11th of December at 11.00 P.M in match day 16 of the Premier League.
