Thibaut Courtois was one of Real Madrid’s best players in the last season, as he kept displaying great goalkeeping skills day in and out to pull Madrid out of critical situations on innumerable occasions. The 29-year old Belgian, was one of the players in the league who featured in all of the league matches as he played out all 38 matches, registering 17 clean sheets to his name. He conceded only 28 goals throughout the campaign and was one of the key architects of Los Blancos’ 2nd position finish.

The Slovenian keeper has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers over the last few years and was critical in Atletico Madrid ending their La Liga trophy drought. He won the Zamora trophy- awarded to the best goalkeeper in Spain having 18 clean-sheets from his 38 appearances.
