Real Madrid have finally scored in La Liga after their 0-0 draw against Osasuna last weekend, as Vinicius Junior scored the first goals of the match against Elche in an early fixture in La Liga. After scoring the goal, the Brazilian winger performed lead TikTok star Khaby Lame’s classic move of showing everyone how it should be done.

Carlo Ancelotti made a bold decision of leaving out star and in from striker Karim Benzema of the matchday squad completely and made 5 changes to the lineup against Osasuna.

Ancelotti chose out of favour striker Mariano Diaz to lead the line in what was seen as a surprise move from the coach. However, the move to start Diaz has started to pay off for the Los Blancos as he had a big hand in the goal scored by Vinicius in the 22nd minute of the match.

The goal came after a mistake from Elche left-back Mojica who gave the ball away in the centre of the park and it was intercepted by Casemiro who made a quick pass onto Mariano Diaz. The striker made a perfect backheel pass for Vinicius who could run on with the ball in the first attempt.

He struck the ball the first time with his left foot and it found the bottom left corner, past the diving Kiko Casilla in goal to give Madrid the opening goal against Elche. The Brazilian winger has now scored 6 goals in La Liga itself and has 8 goals in all competitions as he continues to show his lethal form in front of goal this season.

Coming back to the match, Madrid have done decently well after taking the lead and look on course to take all three points against Elche with the 1-0 lead they have at the halftime break.
