Although questions were regarding the decision but that did not seem to have made any difference as Çalhanoğlu smashed the ball into the back of the net in a central left position, sending the keeper flying absolutely in the wrong direction. Inter Milan was given another chance to go ahead once again in the match before the half time as AC Milan conceded their second penalty in the match with pressure starting to slowly build up among the players.

Lautaro Martínez steps up to take the shot from the penalty spot but is denied by an absolute masterclass save by Ciprian Tătăruşanu as the Romanian goalie dives to the right side to stop the shot of the Argentinian, keeping the Rossoneri in the game.
