After a dismal start to the season, the Molineux-based outfit are able to grind the results under Bruno Lage. The team was up against Klopp’s merciless Liverpool. Against Liverpool in the first half, after the initial scares, Wolverhampton Wanderers were able to grow into the game. 

In the second half, Liverpool came with all guns blazing but Wolverhampton Wanderers were up to the task. Wolves denied any chance for Liverpool with their blocks and goal-line clearances. Bruno Lage’s men did not allow Liverpool to wreak havoc only to see Divock Origi scoring in the final moments of the game to take home all three points at Molineux.

Jose Sa (7/10): Jose Sa was the star for the Wolves in the game against Liverpool. He made crucial saves and had a brain fade moment as well. Despite heroic performances, he could not stop Liverpool from winning.

Maximilian Kilman (7/10): Maximilian Kilman shielded Wolves defense and stopped the opposition throughout the game. He kept Mane and Robertson due at bay. 

Romain Saiss (7/10): A key player in the three-man defense, Roman Saiss stepped up against Salah and Mane whenever needed. He was aerially dominant throughout the game. 

Conor Coady (7.5/10): The star player was Wolves in the game against Liverpool, Conor Coady player through the injury and knocks. He put his body on the line to help his side keep the game goalless. 

Nelson Semedo (6.6/10): The Portuguese wing-back was a dish-player in the midfield and defense for Wolves. Put the perfect crosses, shielded the defense to make the game entertaining.

Ruben Neves (7.6/10): The best player in the midfield for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Neves is likely to make his move away from Molineux in the upcoming winter transfer window with his performance against Liverpool. 

Leander Dendonecker (6.5/10): Though the midfielder received the yellow card for his poor challenge, the player was able to make two key tackles that stopped Merseysiders from scoring. 

Rayan Ait-Nouri (7/10): The new arrival at Molineux had a game of his life in England. The player-created chances and broke the play several times. 

Hwang Hee-Chan (6.3/10): Barring a tackle, Hwang Hee-Chan had very little to do against Liverpool. The player tried to carry the ball forward but was stopped.

Raul Jimenez (6.5/10): The striker was neutralized by the defense of Liverpool and was isolated from his midfield. However, he took the ambitious shots from distance bringing Alisson to play. 

Adama Traore (6.5/10): The winger was bursting forward with his pace but was brought down several times. In the limited chances he had, he couldn’t find the back of the net or get an assist.

Origi at it again!!

Alisson (6.1/10): The Brazilian shot-stopper did not had much to do against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. The defense was able to keep the opposition from the goal. 

Joel Matip (6.9/10): The central defender played a key role in defense Liverpool throughout the game. He had won three aerial duels and two crucial tackles to his name in the game. 

Virgil van Dijk (6.5/10): The Dutch defender had little to no influence in the game against the Wolves. He was unable to dominate aerially as well in the game.

Andy Robertson (7/10): The Scottish fullback was a live wire in the defense and attack. He swung and created the chances the players failed to take on. 

Trent Alexander Arnold (6.7/10): An off game for the talented full-back as he failed to either create a chance or failed to win the challenges in the attacking half. 

Fabinho (6.5/10): The Brazilian central defender was a key player in the midfield with his two key tackles. However, his failure to put a perfect challenge on Adama Traore earned him a yellow card.  

Thiago Silva (6.8/10): The former Bayern Munich player was a key figure in the struggling Merseyside midfield. He created the chance from the deep midfield and even tried belters.

Jordan Henderson (6.4/10): The skipper of Liverpool was having a bad game. Barring a tackle, he did not have any impact on the game. 

Diogo Jota (6.3/10): The Portuguese winger disappointed the fans of Liverpool with the miss of the game. He was able to make runs and have chances but could not convert the chance when the goalkeeper was off his line. 

Mohamed Salah (6.5/10): The Egyptian King was missing in the game as there was no input from the player. He shot into the skies and stands whenever there was a chance. The player was dispossessed seven times in the game. However, he created the chance for the winner against Wolves. 

Sadio Mane (6.3/10): Sadio Mane was the most effective player amongst the forwards for Liverpool with his passing and chances creation. However, he also failed to convert any chance.

Substitutions: 

Divock Origi (7.9/10): The striker came on the pitch with a hope to score the goal but was effectively neutralized by the Wolves till the dying embers of the game. Origi scored the winner for Liverpool in the 95th minute.
