After a chaotic and controversial end to the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Fans haven’t officially heard anything from Lewis Hamilton. After the last race of the 2021 season, Lewis Hamilton has supposedly been off the grid, with rumors and speculations increasing about the future of the Mercedes driver ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Many seem to presume that this might be the end of his career with seven world championships while his former team-mate Nico Rosberg seem to disapprove with this conjecture along with McLaren boss, Zak Brown who considers Lewis Hamilton as an important asset to f1. Joining forces with Nico Rosberg and Zak brown, Lewis Hamilton’s former McLaren team-mate Jenson Button seems to be optimistic about Lewis Hamilton’s retainment for the 2022 season and will take an eighth, beating Michal Schumacher’s record with whom he is tied at the moment with seven title wins.

“I think he will be racing and he wants to win that eight title to be the most decorated Formula 1 driver in F1 history. Ans he will do that. I really do think so.” said Jenson Button, talking about Lewis Hamilton amidst the controversy. Button really wants his former McLaren teammate to race and win the championship again and not loose hope pertaining the Abu Dhabi mishap.
