REVEALED! Mattia Binotto confirms the date to unveil Ferrari’s 2022 F1 challenger

Scuderia Ferrari principal Mattia Binotto has revealed to the tr.motorsports.com that they will be unveiling their car for 2022 Formula 1 season. Team Ferrari is the first F1 team to reveal the date on unveiling of their car for the upcoming season.

The new era of F1 will begins in 2022 with their new design which is years in making, the new cars are expected be completely different from there F1 2021 counterparts with more downforce and over taking abilities on offer with more refined aerodynamics.

Ferrari is ready to capitalize on its new found confidence in Sainz-Leclerc duo with equipping them with the fruits of there R&D which was focused on 2022 season according to team officials. The Marinelli giants are planning to maximize the new F1 regulations without succumbing to the pressure of lack of success.

How was 2021 F1 season for Ferrari:

Michael Schumacher era have long passed Ferrari, who won their last F1 driver title in 2007 thanks to Kimi Raikkonen and also have won the following years constructers title losing the drivers title to Lewis Hamilton. The title drought has haunted them since, never being able to match to their prime runs and bringing in 4 times world champion Vettel also didn’t help.

2021 season saw Ferrari finishing 3ed overall in constructor championship as often the case over the years. Sainz finished 5th in drivers’ championship below both Red bulls and Mercedes’s and Leclerc finishing 7 behind Lando Norris, the pair finishing with 5 podiums between them Sainz with 4 and Leclerc with 1.

We also saw Leclerc missing out on multiple podiums finishing p4. This season also saw Ferraris return to the top tree as they were down to 6 in 2020 constructers championship. Its been a good year with a strong momentum going into new beginning going into 2022 season.
