Mick is very much looking forward to the new era of F1 and was asked to comment on if he has talked to Magnussen about learning from each other, and as a response, the German said, “Not directly, but I think indirectly we all know who is worth for what let’s say.”

Obviously, Kevin has a lot of experience in F1. He can probably guide the team in a direction that I might not just yet, but I think if we both do the right job and work in the same direction there is no reason for us not to be successful in that.”

Now I do have a reference which is good. It’s not only about driving but now you have to put everything together to succeed and that is what essentially is Formula 1. You want to be under pressure, you want to be able to perform under pressure.”

To have that pressure now within the team is positive.”
