Max Verstappen seems to have finally found his long-lost form at Red Bull in 2021 season. Maybe he is finally able to stamp his authority after years of hard-work seems to be paying off in this season. Even after not being able to fetch any point at the British Grand Prix, the Dutchman holds the lead over Lewis Hamilton by 8 points. And the next chapter takes the F1 2021 chapter to Hungary for the mega showdown.
The Red Bull driver had a lead of more than 30 points over Lewis Hamilton but saw that number fade during the British Grand Prix. Max Verstappen crashed out, while Hamilton took the victory despite his ten-second time penalty. Despite this, the Dutch driver maintains an eight-point lead.
Max Verstappen Reveals his Desire to Win Twenty World Championships
Verstappen hopes to fight for the championship with Red Bull Racing in the coming years and win many world titles. “My ambition is to win every single race, be on pole every weekend and win 20 world championships. But that’s unrealistic,” the driver judged in conversation with The BBC.
Indeed, he is aware that the qualities of the car play an important role in the performance. “You need luck in your life and a very dominant car and not always it’s the case that one team will be dominant for such a long time. I try to do the best I can this year and then we will see what happens next year.”
Having said it remains to be seen whether Lewis Hamilton is able to build upon his form at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Or will Max Verstappen be able to make a significant comeback against all odds.
