The upgrades done by Mercedes on their W12 has surely gone onto improve their place after being completely out-run by Red Bull in the earlier 5 races. Even while heading into the summer break, Silver Arrows cut down a lead of 33 points to now eventually lead over their rivals in the Constructor’s Standings. Safe to say that the German has made better use of the Pirelli tyres than Red Bull.

But as per the latest reports, Red Bull have made the required upgrades in order to challenge Mercedes at their very best. Lewis Hamilton is raring with confidence after showing great composure in the previous couple of races. With everything at stake, it looked like Hamilton was the only one looking to improve his position in the previously concluded Hungarian Grand Prix. On the other hand, Max Verstappen struggled to claim his position among the top ranks after the chaos in the very opening lap.

Talking about the upgrades, the Austrian team are understandably hesitant in revealing what updates they have in store. Yet there are clear hopes that their ace Dutchman can make up some of the lost points.

Moreover, the updates are all the more necessary because Red Bull is facing another setback: the collisions with both Mercedes drivers in Silverstone and Budapest damaged the powerplant of both their drivers to the extent that the team will probably have to impose a grid penalty on Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
