With Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton being separated by only 8 points in the Driver’s Standings, many feel that Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez could be pivotal in deciding the overall world champion and the championship team in 2021 season. On that note, the Finn driver has sworn to race hard but remains professional against arch rival’s ace driver Max Verstappen.

Although wide for a street course, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is lined with unforgiving concrete walls just waiting for an error to send drivers into retirement. Asked if he could be more aggressive with his driving than Verstappen as he has ‘less to lose’, Bottas refuted any suggestion he would cross the line of acceptability.
