Fortnite x Dreamcatcher

Earlier, popular Fortnite leaker Shiina had posted about some collabs saying “Epic sent me a survey in my emails asking for my opinion on many characters/people/franchises”, that had Dreamcatcher’s name on the list.

Dreamcatcher, formerly known as MINX; also stylized as Dream Catcher) is a South Korean girl group formed by Happyface Entertainment (now named Dreamcatcher Company). The group consists of seven members: JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. They officially debuted on January 13, 2017, with the single album Nightmare.

SonyMusic K-POP, Sony Music Korea’s Official K-POP Twitter, had replied to the tweet, tagging Epic Games. Since then Twitter has gone crazy and fans could not get over the fact that the collaboration might actually take place.

K-pop, short for Korean popular music, is a genre of music originating in South Korea as part of South Korean culture. It is influenced by styles and genres from around the world, such as pop, experimental, rock, jazz, gospel, hip hop, R&B, reggae, electronic dance, folk, country, and classical on top of its traditional Korean music roots.

The more modern form of the genre emerged with the formation of one of the earliest K-pop groups, the boy band Seo Taiji and Boys, in 1992. Their experimentation with different styles and genres of music and integration of foreign musical elements helped reshape and modernize South Korea’s contemporary music scene.

However, all of these are simply speculations and might not take place soon enough. This did not stop fans from going crazy over the possibility, so let’s just cross our fingers.
