Frank Lampard regrets striking Jurgen Klopp to ‘F*CK OFF’

Frank Lampard regrets saying “F*ck off” to his peer Jurgen Klopp in the Premier League game between Chelsea and Liverpool, yet he offers no excuses for his zeal on the touchline.

The Chelsea boss was entangled in a bitter feud during a dramatic Merseyside confrontation that culminated in a 5-3 loss for the Blues.

A plenty of actions during that game provoked Lampard’s fury, though he did not graciously accept anyone on the opposing bench to the shenanigans.

Lampard acknowledges that he would have more wisely selected his language. His comments came in a pre-game press conference before their final game against Wolves:

“To be honest, I have seen the video and I was there. In terms of the language I used, I do regret that.

“These things get played a lot on social media. I have two young daughters on social media. But in terms of my passion to defend my team, then no regrets.”

Frank Lampard defended himself, upset by some in the Chelsea group at Liverpool’s dugout behavior:

“There were a lot of things that were ongoing and, on the bench, … I’ve got no problem with Jurgen Klopp, he’s managed this team and it’s fantastic.

“Some of the bench, it’s a fine line between when you are winning – and they’ve won the league, fair play to Liverpool Football Club – but also don’t get too arrogant with it.” – the Blues manager added.

Lampard says he would love to have a beer alongside Jurgen Klopp and his team. Though he felt angered at the conduct of Liverpool’s dugout.

“I would have had a beer with Jurgen Klopp to toast their success.

“There were things I didn’t like from their bench, not Jurgen Klopp, but their bench. Emotions run high in this game.”

Chelsea will face Wolves in the last Premier League game of this season. They are hoping to secure their top-four spot for the qualification of the champions league.

Later, they can have their hands on the FA Cup if they beat Arsenal in the final, until going to Germany for the second leg of last-16 Champions League clash with Bayern Munich that they are losing 3-0 at the time.
