Garena has recently revealed two new tournaments which are to be held Global in November. Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 is scheduled to take place in two stages, namely Play-Ins and Finals. Let us have more insights into the upcoming global event of Free Fire.

Garena has cancelled the second Free Fire World Series 2021 due to the ongoing complications of the pandemic in late August. Many were surprised to see the news but given the condition, it is not possible to hold an offline event amidst the pandemic. Since then players and esports organizations were very keen to know about replacing events in place of the cancelled event. Several speculations were made that there would be regional series of tournaments like the Continental series. But the officials have shed light on the two upcoming and fully virtual continental events which are slated to take place in November.

Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 to take place in November

Free Fire Asia Championship 2021 is an online/virtual, global tournament that was announced earlier this month along with EMEA Championship 2021. The event is scheduled to take place in November which comprises two stages, Play-ins and Finals.

The Play-ins are set to take place on November 20, and November 21, while the Finals will take off on November 28, 2021. FFAC 2021 is an Asian Tournament that will feature 31 teams from nine Asian countries which include:

  1. India- 4 teams
  2. Pakistan- 4 teams
  3. Thailand- 5 teams
  4. Vietnam- 5 teams
  5. Indonesia- 5 teams
  6. Taiwan- 4 teams
  7. MCP (Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines)- 4 teams

Qualification process

As for the Indian Region, the top 4 teams from Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall will be qualified for FFAC 2021. According to GameTube, it is uncertain how many teams will progress straight to the Finals, the past suggests that at least one would.

The FFIC 2021 Fall League Stage concluded recently, with the top six teams moving through to the Finals. The Play-ins will take place on October 10th, accompanied by the Finals on October 17th.

The top teams from Pakistan’s current Free Fire Pro League Season 2 might be qualified. The FFPL S2 finals are scheduled to take place on October 10th.
