Free Fire is a very well-known game among the battle royale community. Likewise the game has garnered a massive player base all around the world. Like all other battle royales, this game features maps that the players can play on. The most recently released map was the Bermuda Remastered map. Bermuda Remastered or Bermuda 2.0 was a revamped version of the Bermuda Map in Free Fire. The map was hyped up for a long time, and finally on 1st January players go to land on the new map. However this map is a temporary one for now. Likewise it is set to be up until 10th January. But due to the massively positive response from the community, the developers have decided to extend the date for 7 days more. Free Fire Bermuda Remastered Map to be temporarily removed
The Bermuda Remastered map is part of the New Beginning event in Free Fire. Thus, it was scheduled to be removed after the event ended on 10th January.
However the release of the map has generated an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. Therefore the developers have decided to extend the duration for 7 more days. According to Garena’s official Instagram handle, the Free Fire Bermuda Remastered map will be temporarily removed after 17th January. However it is expected to soon make a comeback as a permanent battle royale map.
The Bermuda Remastered Map will be optimized further before release. Likewise some of the bugs and glitches will be fixed as well.
The Instagram handle of the official Garena Free Fire states:
“We’re happy to hear that you guys really enjoyed our new map, Bermuda Remastered, which was launched on 01/01/2021. Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback and support from you guys, we have decided to extend the opening of Bermuda Remastered until 17/01/2021 so all players can enjoy this new map for a bit longer. However, please understand that we will be temporarily removing this map from matchmaking after this extension so we can adjust and optimize all the combat areas based on all the feedback we’ve gotten. But don’t worry, Bermuda Remastered will be coming back in the near future!“
The return of the map after its temporary removal is pretty evident from this post. Therefore players can look forward to play on the Remastered map very soon in the near future.
