Free Fire server maintenance time (Official): When will the OB30 update be available to play

The all-new Free Fire OB30 is finally going to be released today after being awaited by millions of players. Free Fire server maintenance time was revealed officially by the developers yesterday and here are the official timings of the maintenance break.
Free Fire OB30 advance server has commenced on September 9, 2021, and got concluded on September 16, 2021. Most of the new features, changes, additions were revealed earlier through the advance server which lured the players. After successful completion of the OB29 update, the developers are releasing the OB30 update with new changes, character, pet, weapon additions as well new game modes and many more.
To try out these new features or any changes, players would have to wait for few hours as the servers will be taken down under maintenance until the Evening. No player can be able to enter the game during this break.

Free Fire server maintenance time revealed by the officials: Players will have to wait few hours
Yesterday, the officials have announced that they would be taking down the game’s servers to push the new update globally. So, the servers will remain down on September 28, 2021, and they have also mentioned that the players could not be able to play the game until the servers are online. The announcement was done through the official social media handles of Free Fire and the post reads:
"Please be noted that the game will be going through maintenance tomorrow, starting from 9:30 AM IST to 6:30 PM IST! Are you as excited as we are to try out the new features? So are we!"
They have also added
"During this time, you will not be able to enter the game or play normally. But don't you worry, you'll be able to access normal right after you update the patch coming soon! "
According to the official announcement of the officials, here are the official Maintenance break timings:
- Start time: 9:30 AM IST (GMT +5:30) on September 28, 2021
- End Time: 6:30 PM IST (GMT +5.30) on September 28,2021
The update will be available to download from the google play store and the app store after two hours of the commencement of the Maintenance period. Thus, the update would be available to download roughly around 12:00 PM IST.
However, no one can access the game until the maintenance break is finished. Anyone who enters the game will be shown a message/notice which reads:
“The Server Will be Ready Soon.”
Why is Free Fire Showing Error Message Today?
Free Fire is receiving a new OB30 update and the developers will take down the game’s servers in order to push the new update online. The servers will be taken down due to maintenance and will be brought back to online in the evening. Players could not be able to enter the game while the maintenance period is active.
The maintenance break is from 9:30 AM IST to 6:30 PM IST for the Indian region. During this break time, the game shows an error message stating ‘The server will be ready soon.’ Players cannot bypass these server issues and should wait until they are back online.
How to download the Free Fire OB30 update
- After a couple of hours of the commencement of Maintenance period, the users can head to the Google Play store or the App Store.
- Search for ‘Free Fire’ and you will be shonw the game.
- Click on ‘update’ the game once you have got access to the udpate option.
- If you are not being shown such option, please try back after some time.
