Free Fire World Series that is supposed to be held on 22nd May in Singapore is the first global tournament of 2021 Free Fire. Down below we take a look at the Free Fire World Series 2021 and how the pandemic and Singapore travel restrictions are leading to exclusion of teams.
The Free Fire World Series 2021 is supposed to be held in Singapore this year on May 22 and 29th. However, this is supposed to be an offline event in a venue in Singapore. But these plans seem to have been thwarted by the second wave of Covid-19 in the South Asian region.
Garena Free Fire has recently shared the news that the teams from India won’t be able to participate in the tournament. This includes the teams, i.e., Team Elite and Galaxy Racer. Likewise, now due to the travel bans, teams from Bangladesh and Pakistan have also been restricted from participating in the tournament.
Free Fire World Series 2021: Teams from Pakistan and Bangladesh can’t participate
The travel ban in Singapore was imposed due to the spread of Covid-19 in the South Asian region recently. Earlier two Indian teams have been barred because of the laws set in by the Singapore government. The country has banned travel from these regions and Pakistan and Bangladesh have been barred as well.
