On March 14, Leon Edwards went up against Belal Muhammad at UFC Vegas 21 main event. The fight ended uneventfully as “Rocky” ended up eye-poking Belal two times which led to a decision of ‘No Contest’. The Englishman left Muhammad bleeding from the eye after this incident.

But Leon believes that he doesn’t need to fight his rival again as he looks for a title shot in the near future. In his post-match conference at UFC Vegas 21 after the terrible incident, the accuser showed no signs of humbleness. In his post-conference the fighter said, “I don’t feel I need to fight [Belal] again. I only fought him because all the other guys turned me down. I need to move forward. I feel I deserve a title shot now.

The UFC veteran Sam felt that Edwards wanting a title shot after a eye poke no contest fight is disrespectful towards Belal. Even Muhammad feels that the two still have unfinished business. Belal wants to settle this fight in a rematch. Edwards though feels he is above Belal.
