The board near the parking lot doesn’t have Cameron Smith’s name anymore on it and neither it has the name of previous champion Justin Thomas. According to Schupak, Cameron Smith utilised the TPC Sawgrass practise facility more frequently than other nearby facilities. The replica of Smith’s winning bag and his photos have been taken out of the clubhouse, according to the Golfweek writer. For Smith, it’s a double blow.
“If they go to LIV they don’t have any of their (PGA) Tour privileges at TPC properties,” Schupak was told by TPC Sawgrass general manager Derek Sprague.
