Gone to a better place: Virat Kohli mourns death of pet dog Bruno

Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma disbursed tribute to their pet dog Bruno, who died after gracing their lives for 11 years. Kohli shared an emotional message on social media to express sadness at the death of Bruno.

“Rest in peace my Bruno. Graced our lives with love for 11 years but made a connection of a lifetime. Gone to a better place today. God bless his soul with peace.”

Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma shared a picture with his dog with the caption ” Bruno RIP”.

Due to nationwide lockdown, the couple is presently spending time at their home in order to contain the extent of COVID-19 pandemic.

In India, closely 50,000 people infected and over 1600 people died due to coronavirus as they advising people to adhere to the guidelines put in place by the government. They also contributed Rs.3 crore to fund the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s (Maharashtra) Relief Fund to fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

In the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, Kohli would have been directing Royal challengers Bangalore which is currently postponed.
