It’s is highly likely that Joachim Loew will step down from the position of head coach after the 2022 Euros. The German has won the World Cup for his country in 2014 but has recently been underwhelming with sub par performances.

One must remember that Germany were knocked out of the 2018 World Cup in the group stages itself and will want to bring in new blood should they want succes in Qatar.

Oliver Bierhoff recently said that Hansi Flick could definitely manage the German National Team.

Do I trust him? Absolutely. Hansi knows the DFB inside out. He has his quality and has always said how he values the association.”

“I signed Hansi for the national team back then. In all these years he has been a very important factor in the success of this team,” Bierhoff explained.

His [Flick’s] performance with FC Bayern last year was really impressive. But neither for us nor for him, this is currently not an issue.”
