It has been over two and a half years since Greg Hardy made his switch to professional mixed martial arts, after having been an NFL player until 2015. Since then, Hardy has fought 11 bouts, winning 7, making up for quite an impressive resume. After back to back wins in the year 2020, Greg Hardy stumbled in his third fight of 2020 against Marcin Tybura, losing to him via. TKO. The loss was the first for Greg Hardy via knock out.

Speaking of this to Matt Parrino and Ryan Talbot in their SHOUT Buffalo Podcast, UFC President Dana White, revealed how good Greg Hardy looked in his loss to Marcin Tybura. The UFC Boss admitted that he was surprised that Greg Hardy has been sticking around this long, especially in a nasty division like the heavyweight division.

Dana White was quoted as saying, “He looked damn good. He lost that last fight, but he looked damn good right up until he lost. He’s done very well here. I didn’t expect him to possibly stick around this long, especially in this heavyweight division. There’s some nasty guys, but he’s done very well.” (via Middle Easy)

‘The Prince of War’, after his loss to Tybura, stated that he was far from finished. And, it looks like he will only go from strength to strength, here onwards. Will Greg Hardy, who is yet to land an opponent, bounce back from his loss and make a name for himself as a successful heavyweight in a division filled with the toughest men on the planet?
