Max Verstappen has a shot at the championship for the first time after he joined Red Bull in 2015. Ever since he made his debut in F1, Mercedes have dominated the circuit, winning seven consecutive F1 constructors championships.

Many teams are focusing on the 2022, with newer regulations in place. From next season, there will be a level playing field, which gives an opportunity to all teams. However, Red Bull advisor, Helmut Marko believes that they have to make sure Max Verstappen has the best shot at the title this season.

Max Verstappen has had a decent start to his 2021 season, securing three podium finishes so far. The Dutch driver won the Imola GP, and finished P2 in Portugal and Bahrain. However, Lewis Hamilton still leads the championship, after claiming his second win of the season in Portugal. He has extended his lead at the top of the championship to 8 points.
