This talk has been going over a year now. Ever since the duo has landed in Brooklyn, fanatics just want to see them play together. Talking about Kyrie Irving, averaging 22.4 points, 5.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game. Kevin Durant, meanwhile, has spent much of his career in the conversation of best player in the league. But there are no doubts, that he is an exceptional player who has the ability to bounce back after a season-long injury.

Brooklyn Nets are not only about Durant and Irving. Two key players to watch out would be Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert. Both of them made full use of the absence of Irving and Durant in the 2019-20 season. While Dinwiddie posted his career best average last season, LeVert bounced back after an injury to finish the season on a high.

Kevin Durant brings one MVP award, two championships, two Finals MVP awards and four scoring titles with him to Brooklyn. On paper, Irving and Durant have the potential to turn the Nets into title contenders this season and beyond. But will they? 

A two-time MVP and first ballot Hall of Famer, Nash is widely regarded as being one of the greatest point guards in NBA history, but this will be his first-time coaching in the NBA.

He’ll have plenty on his plate, from figuring out how to get the most out of Irving and Durant, both of whom are coming off of injuries, to how Dinwiddie, LeVert, Joe Harris, DeAndre Jordan, Jarrett Allen, Bruce Brown, Landry Shamet and Taurean Prince fit into his rotation. 

All speculations would be answered when Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant step together on the court for the Nets, when the season starts on December 22.
