How to get the Perico Pistol and Combat Shotgun in GTA 5

The Cayo Perico Heist is a recent addition to GTA 5. It launched with new content such as vehicles, clothes and weapons. Additionally, 2 weapons are hidden on El Rubio’s island and can be obtained without much effort. This article will look at how to obtain the Perico Pistol and Combat Shotgun in GTA 5.

How to get the Perico Pistol and Combat Shotgun in GTA 5:
Both of these weapons are obtained from the Cayo Perico heist. This means both of them can be obtained at the same time and are placed not very far away from each other.
Combat Shotgun:
The Combat Shotgun is the first shotgun added to the game after a really long time(not including the Pump Shotgun MK II). It spawns around 7 random locations around El Rubio’s island. The locations are listed on the map given below.
It can spawn randomly on any of these locations. After retrieving the Combat Shotgun, it can be used in the Heist, after which it can be purchased from Ammu-Nation for $298000. Though very expensive, it is useful as it provides a high fire rate, almost double that of the Pump Shotgun and therefore should be purchased.
Perico Pistol:
The Perico Pistol is a rare, high-damage pistol that is excellent at dealing with enemies at close range. It can only be unlocked while on the Cayo Perico Heist finale. The steps to obtain it differs slightly from that of the combat shotgun. First, a special key must be found from any of these locations listed below:
A sleeping guard spawns at any of these locations at random. Even the time spawned is random and a guard may not always be at a given location. Once the guard is located, a special key can be looted from his body by the player which is later used to obtain the Perico Pistol. On the Heist, the player must proceed to El Rubio’s office. Inside the office, the player must approach the desk. At this point, an option appears prompting the player to open the Desk Drawer inside which the Perico Pistol is kept. After this, the player can continue to use the Perico Pistol on the Heist. After the Heist, the player must head to an Ammu-Nation where the Perico Pistol can be redeemed for free.
These were the different steps to obtain the Perico Pistol and Combat Shotgun in GTA 5. Both of them are very rare and powerful weapons that can be obtained without much effort.
