The Composter in Minecraft is a unique block that lets players convert plant and animal materials into bone meal.
They can spawn naturally in villages with farms. Players can break them with an axe or hand to carry it back with them.
How to use a Composter?
Players can recycle animal and food bits inside the Composter to make Bone meal. The Bone Meal is used as manure to grow other crops faster. Every natural item except bamboos, poisonous potatoes, dead bushes, meat and fishes can be used in the Composter.
Different materials have a different chance of making the compost full. Most notably, Cake and Pumpkin Pie have a 100% chance to make compost.
- Upon making compost, green particles appear and the inside of the compost becomes progressively whiter. Upon completion, Bone meal pops out of the Composter and players can pick it up.
- It also drops EXP orbs.
