Minecraft has many different things that the players can craft in the game. The limit to crafting is simply non-existent as every block can combine to form different structures. Some of the more simpler ones are the ones that may end up as the most useful.
Down below we take a look at how to make a Torch.
Torch in Minecraft
The Torch is block in Minecraft that emits light and keeps away mob spawns in the dark. Lighting up your house is an important thing because monsters can spawn anywhere in the dark!
Players can find torches naturally spawning in all villages, rooms in strongholds, igloo basements, pillager outposts and mansions. They can also be found in Chest loot in various places.
Variants of Torches
The Torch has two variants in the game as of now:
- The Normal Torch
- Soul Lamp (these are turquoise variants that are crafted with soul sand)
How to make a Torch in Minecraft and how to use it?
Payers need only two items for the normal torch and 3 items for the Soul Torch.
Players need Coal or Charcoal and a stick to make a Lamp. Coal can be found underground while mining and sticks can be found by breaking trees and leaves.
Place the items in the Crafting table in the manner shown above to make a Torch.
Players need only one extra item, that is the Soul Sand, to make this variant of the Torch. Soul Sand can be found in the Nether and in Nether Fortresses.
Combine the items in the manner shown above to make a Soul Torch.
To use a Torch players can simply hold it in their hands, and place it on the side of any block. The torch will illuminate the surroundings and makes visibility easier during night.
