Youtube star Jake Paul is all set to bump gloves with former Bellator and ONE championship champion Ben Askren in an exhibition boxing match on April 17th. The fighter has two knockout wins in his bag as a professional. In the media day, Jake Paul revealed that he has mental health issues.

Ben Askren will fight Jake on April 17th as a part of the Triller Fight Club pay-per-view event this Saturday. The fight is set to take place inside the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Yesterday the second media day went down before the fight commences. Jake Paul and Ben Askren revealed some interesting facts.

Jake Paul admitted that he has shown early signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The star revealed this to prove his passion and dedication to the sport of boxing and says he is not playing around. Many spectators question Jake’s legitimacy in the sport of boxing and the Youtube kid is here to prove them wrong.

“It’s a dangerous sport,” Paul told combat sports reporters during Thursday’s media day. “That’s why, when people question my dedication to it—it’s like, I’m showing up every single day. I’m putting my mental health on the line, my brain is on the line. Like you said, I’ve gone and gotten brain scans and have early signs of CTE.”

Jake Paul yesterday at the media day ahead of his boxing match against Olympian wrestler Jake Paul revealed that he has mental health issues and is fighting in spite of that. He admitted to that to reveal how serious he is about the sport.

The fighter is a millionaire and is one of the richest YouTubers, still nothing beats boxing for the younger Paul brother. He said, “I love this sport and wouldn’t trade it for anything else” in the conference. “And I’m a fighter and people will see that. Whether it’s after Saturday night or whether it’s a year from now, they will see that I’m a fighter.”
