The number of COVID-19 cases are increasing in New York, Tennis Player Sofia Kenin took the initiative to donate 1,020 water bottles for the frontline workers at the Coney Island Hospital in New York.

Kenin has partnered with VOSS Water. This a premium brand of water, and collectively they made the donation. VOSS Water has already donated more than 700 thousand water bottles for frontline workers in the USA.

“Hi everyone, I’m Sofia Kenin. I’m super happy to be in a position to donate 1,020 bottles of water to the wonderful frontline fighters at the Coney Island Hospital, who are fighting this terrible disease. I hope this puts a smile on their faces during these difficult times. And I wish you all to stay healthy and safe,” she announced on social media.

She has given the donation to medical staff and they express there gratitude to help them.

The American Kenin’s winning the title did not stop in Melbourne. In the first week of March, she played at Lyon Open and successfully won the title. Due to the coronavirus pandemic suspended all the tennis events.

In 2020, besides her two title victories, Kenin was defeated by Naomi Osaka in Brisbane, Dayana Yastremska in Qatar, Danielle Collins in Adelaide and Elena Rybakina in Dubai.

During the first week of February, she made a space at the Fed Cup 2020 and led her Team USA to reserve a spot in the finals.
