The former UFC Lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos made his comeback in the Lightweight division with a fight against Paul Felder. Dos Anjos’s Welterweight skid hasn’t been good for him he only managed to win one of his last five fights in that division.

With the win against Paul Felder, he came back in the winning column, and like everyone, he is also eager to welcome one of the most famous UFC Lightweight fighter Nate Diaz. When they both first faced each other Dos Anjos won the fight by unanimous decision of the judges.

Both of them fought in 2014 where Dos Anjos gave nasty blows to the legs of Nate and he mocked him in the same way for his comeback. In his latest tweet, Dos Anjos says, “I promise if I ever fight Diaz again I won’t kick his leg,”

Dana White also made it clear that Nate Diaz is making his comeback in the Lightweight division and UFC is already planning a fight for him. White says, “We’re working on a Nate Diaz fight right now at lightweight,”

“It would put him in a really good position if he won the fight and the guy who he could potentially be fighting, I think it’s a great fight for him too.”

Dos Anjos is also eager to run things with Islam Makhachev

Rafael Dos Anjos was originally booked to face Islam Makhachev in his Lightweight comeback but Islam ruled out of this fight due to an injury and Paul Felder replaced him at the very last moment.

Islam Makhachev is targeted to face Drew Dober in March but Rafael Dos Anjos is also eager to run things with him and settle the score. In one of his interviews, Dos Anjos says, “I’m waiting for this fight to book again”.

But with Nate Diaz making his comeback Dos Anjos can be a good opponent to welcome Nate back inside the Octagon.
