The most anticipated rematch between the former lightweight champion Conor McGregor and former interim-lightweight champion Dustin Poirier happened at UFC 257, and Dustin shocked the world when he knocked Conor out for the first time in his MMA career.
After the fight many speculations were made regarding the reason behind Conor’s loss. Conor believed the leg kick destroyed his lead leg and completely immobilized him leaving him vulnerable, others believes that the change in his stance was the major issue.
Boxing legend Tyson Fury believed that the inactivity was the cause of his performance, but now an interesting opinion came out from Dana White who believes Conor wasn’t even serious about this fight.
He said, “I don’t think there has to be trash talk or any of that stuff. I think that I don’t know if its true, I mean only Conor can answer this question. I think Conor was overlooking Dustin and was like. “Let me get through this, so I can work on other things.”
Conor’s coach believes they can get it done this time
