Where these questions are being raised, on the other hand world No.33 Borna Coric believes that ‘Federer is certainly capable of winning more major titles next year’.

Roger has decided to give himself all the time necessary to recover from his double surgery and will only be back in the court when he will be 100% good.

Coric explained, “We have been asking ourselves for the previous 10 years, is this the last year of Roger Federer’s career. Still, he keeps coming back, winning more Majors and other tournaments. It will not be easy for Roger to repeat that in 2021 but is certainly capable of doing that.”

“Many people had said he couldn’t do that anymore, being to old, and then he comes back equally strong or even better. I’m not going to doubt him until he officially retires,” he added.

Without any doubt, today’s competition though is fierce with endless strong players that too half of Federer age, but no one can count the Swiss out of his returning powers that are spectacular.

We we dig back to 2016, where Federer returned after his surgery in order to win his 25thMasters title at Indian Wells from Stan Wawrinka, and then he moved on to Miami Masters to get his 26 off Rafael Nadal.

But things are bit different this time, it might be possible that like all the superb performances that the Swiss has shown in the past, he wouldn’t be able to amuse the public this time like that this time with his double surgery and the on going world health crisis.

“A few weeks ago, having experienced a setback during my initial rehabilitation, I had to have an additional quick arthroscopic procedure on my right knee. Now, much like I did leading up to the 2017 season, I plan to take the necessary time to be 100% ready to play at my highest level. I will be missing my fans and the tour dearly but, I will look forward to seeing everyone back on the tour at the start of the 2021 season,” wrote Federer on Twitter.
