Anthony Joshua (L) and Kubrat Pulev (R)

Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev is hardly a week away! The Brit will be defending his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles at the Wembley Arena, come Saturday. ‘AJ‘ is coming off a victory over Andy Ruiz Jr., which saw him regain the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles after losing to Ruiz himself in his previous bout (his only loss so far). Kubrat, the Bulagarian, on the other hand is riding a hot 8 match win streak, with his last and only loss coming against the great Wladimir Klitschko.

More recently DAZN Boxing released a promo for the contest titled – Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev: The Journey To Undisputed, in which Anthony Joshua can be heard speaking his mind out, via. a soliloquy.

“It will definitely be a highlight-reel knockout” – Anthony Joshua

AJ can be heard saying, “I just focus on what’s in front of me. The only time anyone will know what it’s like to fight me is if they step in the ring with me. I am still an improvement fighter, I am getting stronger. I am getting smarter, I am just built for it. Kubrat Pulev is going to be the man in front of me. If my punch lands in the right place, it will definitely be a highlight-reel knockout. Because I am number one, I am ready to fight anyone... Once that bell goes you got Pulev in front of me. Everything else is irrelevant. I’m one belt away and that’s what’s my focus!

A win for Anthony Joshua will definitely set him up for an all Brit bout against Tyson Fury. But, he will have to grind hard to charm the ‘Cobra’ in the form of Kubrat Pulev. Fingers Crossed!

Can Anthony Joshua pull-off a victory over Kubrat Pulev?
