Day 4 of the fourth Test between India and Australia ended with the game interestingly poised with the visitors needing 324 runs on the final day to take the series 2-1. The Aussies will however, go into the final day as favorites to clinch a win and reclaim the Border-Gavaskar trophy, unless rain which has been forecast intervenes. If the match does end in a draw and India retain the trophy, it would be a fitting gift for their inexperienced bowling attack.
Mohammed Siraj was the spearhead of the Indian bowling attack in the final Test after making his debut in the same series. A plethora of injuries meant the attack had played only 4 Test matches between them. However, they did manage to pick up 20 wickets and Siraj shone with a five-wicket haul in the second innings – his first in international cricket. After the same, he led the Indians off the field to a standing ovation. He was then hugged by ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah in a moment that has been lapped up by fans as the ‘moment of the Test’. These are some tweets from fans about the moment.
