In India’s first innings, Pant played a smashing knock of 91 runs off 88 balls. He spared no England bowler and hit nine fours and five sixes.

“Thought he (Pant) was playing in the IPL. It’s a challenge that comes for a spinner. Was a tough evening that one but boys helped me stay strong,” Jack Leach said after the win in Chennai.

England lifted the Moose Trophy and defeated Sri Lanka 2-0 on their some soil. Leach talked of the same, “Had a long time without any cricket (before the Sri Lanka series). It was about bowling those long overs in the heat.”
