India vs England: Shardul Thakur ruled out as Team India announce squad for the third and fourth Test against England

Team India's squad for the last two Tests announced. The third Test against England will begin on February 24.


After a scintillating winning performance to level India-England Test series 1-1, preparations for the third and the fourth Test scheduled in Ahmedabad are in its full swing.

After the visiting Team England announced its 17-member squad for the last two matches on Tuesday, BCCI recently announced Team India’s squad.

Team India’s 17-member squad for last two Tests

Virat Kohli (Capt), Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane (vc), KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wk), Wriddhiman Saha (wk), R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Md. Siraj.

The last two Test matches between the two sides will be played in Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The action for the third match will get underway from February 24. The contest will be day-night Test match, played with the pink ball. Besides, the match will be the first international match to be played in the newly built Motera Stadium.

Much like the second Test, the third and the fourth Test in Ahmedabad will see the coming of 50 percent in-stadium fans.
