The Indian Football Team on Thursday jumped 53 spots to come back at the 108th mark in the men’s FIFA World Rankings. In the current scenario when almost all the sporting activities in the world are at a standstill, a whole lot of International Football fixtures have also been postponed or cancelled.
Due to this backdrop in events, the FIFA World Rankings are slightly impacted. Team South Sudan moved to a joint-168th position with Bermuda after the latter dropped a ranking point due to a 2-0 defeat in Jamaica (48th) on the 11th of March.

Other teams, who were involved in friendly matches, since the rankings last updated were, Panama (81st), Uzbekistan (85th), Belarus (87th), Guatemala (130th) and Nicaragua (151st).
Meanwhile, Teams Belgium and France retained their first and second spots respectively in the latest rankings. On the third place it’s Brazil, followed by England.
